Expressions of interest – Winter Camp 2018

We’ve been furiously working away behind the scenes to make arrangements for this winters event. And I’d like to offer my sincere thanks to all who made suggestions and assisted so far.

For Winter Camp 2018 we will be heading to Chamonix, at the foot of Mont Blanc, for 4 nights between Thursday 25th January and Monday 29th January 2018.

We’ve found some great accommodation which will come in somewhere between €40-45 per night (this will be determined by the number of participants).

So, it’s time to ask who’s in?

As with last year, because we had riders travelling from all over Europe, you will be responsible for making your own way to the accommodation. We will, of course, assist you with this wherever we can.

I’m really encouraged by the fact that we’ve already had people such as Joe, Gairy, Ashley, Allan, Robin, Kev and Shawn say that they’d love to return next year and we’ve also had Lee and Mathew who have said they’d like to join us for the first time.

Regardless of your previous comments, and now that we’ve decided on dates and location, please can you comment on this post if you are interested in joining us [basically, so I only have to look in one place for numbers!]

Please comment by 15th September 2017 so that we can finalise the booking.

The maximum group size will be 15 as we will struggle to accommodate more all under one roof. So, don’t delay in securing your place!

[obviously, you can reply at any time but we can’t guarantee your inclusion in the main accommodation after the first set of attendees is agreed]

If you need a bit of help to decide, you might want to watch this video of Winter Camp 2017!

We hope to see you there…

Ps. Please rest assured that with 2 Yorkshiremen organising the trip, the lowest possible trip cost is at the forefront of our minds!

      • 4 nights is definitely better. I may just actually save and buy a second hand bike bag as it will come in handy in the future i think
